Harmony and Peace in Calligraphy at the Downtown Eugene Public Library

Details: Learn about the history, significance, and art of Chinese calligraphy at a talk by visiting Professor Zhou Bin, illustrated by works created by Zhou, former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and youth calligrapher Ye Junkun. Zhou is director of the Calligraphy Education and Psychology Research Center and chairman of the United Association of Calligraphy, an NGO associated with the United Nations Department of Public Association. Participants will have an opportunity to try calligraphy.
